Grow Local for the Planet

Local gardening group that is rethinking our yards and public green spaces with a focus on native plants and regenerative growing. Monthly meetings every month with interesting speakers . Please join us.

Gardens For Good

A new food growing program, started in 2023, recruits local landowners to convert parts of their lawns into vegetable gardens & recruits volunteer gardeners to help to tend the gardens. These gardens will produce fresh produce for neighbors who are patrons of the Council for Social Concern and the En Ka Food Pantry. 

Anna's Fund

Anna's Fund was started to help with food insecurity in our community. The Anna LViolette Fund was created in 2019 to honor the memory of our great friend Anna LaViolette.

WIN FastForest Project by Grow Local for the Planet

WIN FastForest is a community carbon-requestration project headed by the Grow Local for the Planet, partnering with Winchester Conservation Committee and Wright-Locke Farm. It focuses on creating a dense forest  of native trees and plants using the 'Miyawaki' method.

During the year, we partner with other organizations, have events to promote our mission,  within the market promote local organizations, art and culture, business  in the community.
