Heather Murray of the Conservation Law Foundation will be in Lexington to discuss their lawsuit against ExxonMobil at the Sustainable Middlesex meeting on Saturday, February 4. Although the allegations relate to the ExxonMobil facility in Everett, the suit has national, if not international, implications.
In addition to the speaker, we will have a chance to discuss successful local initiatives regarding efforts to reduce carbon emissions and to engage others in our mission. If your group has had a successful project, please let me know.
The event will take place at the Lexington Community Center (not the Library), 39 Marrett Rd. (behind the National Heritage Museum), Saturday February 4th.
Doors open at 9AM with coffee and snacks and a chance to connect with other concerned citizens. The program starts at 9:30AM and concludes at 11:00AM.
